PDP’s Holds 102nd NEC Meeting In Abuja

The major opposition political party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) on Monday, 25 August, 2025 held its 102nd National Executive Committee(NEC) meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting, which commenced at 2pm, according to political observers, is an important moment for the party as it will discuses critical issues, including the report of the National Zoning Committee and preparations for the upcoming national convention.
Outside the venue of the meeting, party supporters were with flags of the party in their hands and in a joyous mood as they were singing and dancing in a peaceful atmosphere.
Today’s meeting, it was gathered, will reflect on the PDP’s shared vision and determination to deliver for Nigerians in 2027.
The meeting was attended by party leaders, governors, and stakeholders from across Nigeria, underscores the PDP’s renewed commitment to providing a robust opposition and preparing for a victorious outing in the 2027 general election.
