PenCom Issues 15,100 Pension Clearance Certificates To Employers In 2025

BY NKECHI NAECHE- ESEZOBOR–The National Pension Commission, (PenCom), said it has issued Pension Clearance Certificates (PCCs) to 15,100 organisations as at March, 21 2025.

The commission disclosed this recently via its official website.

In 2024, PenCom said it issued over 38,000 PCC to organisations while in 2023 30,293 companies received PCCs.

PenCom had last year automated the process for applying for PCC making it easier for employers to access this essential document.

This development according to the commission iis part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and ease of doing business.

PenCom noted that employers would be able to submit applications and print their PCC from the comfort of their offices.
