Customers Base of Premium Pension Hits To 640,000…Attributes Outstanding Performance To Customers

BY NKECHI NAECHE—-The number of Retirement Savings Account(RSA) holders with Premium Pension Limited(PPL) has now risen to 640,000 as at the end of August, 2018.
The Managing Director/CEO, PPL, Mr. Umar Mairami, disclosed this at the company’s Celebration of Excellence held today in Lagos, noted that 13 years after its establishment, the Pension Asset Under Management of his firm has grown to N590 billion, promising that the Pension Fund Administrator(PFA) has put strategies in place to increase its customer base, while giving good returns on investment to its contributors and investors.
To deepen pension penetration across the country, he said, the company is evenly spread, with nine registered regional offices and 46 service centres scattered across the country in a bid to give the company a national outlook.
While believing the pension industry has a better prospect as more people continue to join the Contributory Pension Scheme(CPS), he promised that his PFA is ever ready to persuade more working class Nigerians to join the new pension scheme through Premium Pension.
According to him, “we are among the top PFAs in the country, operating across nine regional offices out of which two of them are in Lagos because of how strategic Lagos is. We also have 46 service centres evenly spread across the country.”
He thanked the management and staff of the company for their dedication to duties which has transformed into positive result for the PFA.
He also promised its RSA holders of continuos better services as well as good investment returns even as the firm remains one of the few PFAs that give the highest investment returns.

He  assured that the company will do more for its customers across the country and continue to service contributors and retirees better.
At the event, some companies who have signed up with Premium Pensions in the last 13 years of the PFA were awarded.

In a closing remark, Executive Director Business Development South & Strategy, Mrs. Kemi Oluwashina, thank customers for their contributions to the growth of the company over the years, noting that the celebration of excellence is a way of appreciating their contributions and trust over the years.
FIrst Bank Of Nigeria(FBN), Petrobas Nigeria Ltd and AMMI Intl Petroleum Development Company Limited, were awarded for their trust in Premium Pension brand in the last 12 years, while FBN, Sandy Management Consultant, Dangote Group, Ecobank and Dantata Asawu Construction Company Limited were awarded for having the highest monthly pension remittances.
Five companies were equally given award for having the highest percentage of workforce even as two companies were given award for having highest Additional Voluntary Contribution(AVC).
