PILA Establishes Enugu Chapter

As part of the thrust of the office of the President of the professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA), to bring PILA to the national front by reacting the chapters and creating new ones, the Association has Inaugurated Enugu chapter of PILA.

Speaking at the inauguration/investiture of their new executives sponsored by Guinea Insurance PLC in Enugu, the President, PILA, Mrs. Nkechi Margaret Moore, said “Enugu Chapter has been on the pipeline for a while and we are happy today we have kept our promise of inaugurating this chapter.”


She noted that PILA is the oldest female professional Association, having been inaugurated on the 29th of May, 1973.

She said “PILAs aim and objectives are to promote forthright insurance ladies through training and retraining of her members and to encourage gender parity/ equity in the workplace.”

The executive of the chapter are Okafor Ijeoma – Chairperson; Nwuba – Vice chairman; Chinasa – Secretary; Patricia Attah – Education; Ngozi Nkemdirim –Financial Sec; Chioma Ogueri – Social Sec and Helen Oby Ani – Membership Secretary.
