PMS Tanker Fire Outbreak Hits Filling Station in Zaria

JUDE MOHAMMED—-A petrol tanker was engulfed by fire at a filling station in Sabon Gari, Zaria. A report from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) stated that the filling station is situated within Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Zaria, Kaduna State.

According to the report, the exact cause of the fire incident had not been determined as of the time the report was filed. However, preliminary information revealed that the truck driver sustained injuries from the blaze and was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

The Federal Fire Service in ABU, the Fire Service Depot, and residents of the community played a major role in bringing the fire under control.

Some security agencies were also present at the scene to manage the crowd and maintain order.
