Lagos Police Command through credible intelligence, a team of Special Tactical Operatives from the Command have arrested one Omotayo Iwajomo ‘m’, a notorious armed robbery suspect, at his hideout in Ikorodu.
Items recovered include one (1) AK-49 rifle with Breech No. N704983, three (3) magazines, seventeen (17) rounds of 47.62mm live ammunition, and three (3) rounds of 9.19mm live ammunition.
The suspect confessed to being the leader of a gang responsible for several violent crimes in Lagos.
He is currently in custody and assisting in the apprehension of other gang members.
