Police Respond To Alleged Extortion By Operatives In Kubwa

FCT Police Command on Wednesday said it has commenced investigation into alleged extortion of motorists by traffic officers in Kubwa are of FCT.

According to statement posted on the command’s official twitter account that the command has identified the officers and have invited them for questioning.

The statement added that an investigation into the matter is currently underway to determine the facts of the case.

The command urges the complainant to come forward and provide further substantiation of her claims.

It added that the Command remains committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accountability within its ranks. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity and will continue to hold any errant officers accountable for their actions. ”
