Sunu Assurances Grows Profits To N791m in Q3

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR-Underwriting firm, Sunu Assurance Plc has grown its gross premium written in nine months to N3.390 billion at the end of third quarter (Q3) 2020, a 43.9% increase from N2.356 billion in the same period in 2019.

This is contained in the Company’s unaudited financial statement for the period ended 30th September 2020 made available to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Also the company was able to return to profit with N790.742 million in the same period of Q3 2020 from a loss position of N191.133 in Q3 2019.

According to the statement,
revenue for three month rose to N980.536 million from N809.684 in Q3 2019.

Also it’s returned to profit this year at N198.296 million in nine months from N365.625 million loss in 2019.
