BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR--The National Pension Commission (PenCom) said a total of 12,681 RSA holders initiated RSA transfer during the second quarter of 2021.
PenCom stated this in its second quarter 2021 reports released yesterday that all the RSAs were transferred to their new PFAs along with their Pension Assets valued at N47,778,631,048.65 billion.
In addition, the report said that 10,167 RSA holders initiated RSA transfer requests from 1 April to 30 June 2021.
It noted that the actual transfer of the RSAs will be processed in the first week of July 2021.
The commission also disclosed that pension fund Administrators, registered a total of 83,173 RSAs during the quarter under review. This according to the commission brought the cumulative RSA registrations from inception to 9,383,204 as at 30 June 2021.
