Veritas Kapital Records 68% Drop In Profit In Q1 2022

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–Nigeria’s insurer, Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc has announced 68% drop in group profit.

This is contained in its unaudited financial statement for the period ended 31 March 2022 presented on the floor Nigerian Exchange that it’s group profit depreciated to N126.171 million from N394.327 million in Q1 2021.

While group gross premium written was  also not left out as declined to N1.44 billion when compared to N1.864 billion in Q1 2021.
