Tragedy occurred on the evening of Tuesday, 29 July, 2025 as a female passenger was discovered dead inside a moving Tricycle popularly known as Keke NAPEP in Aba, Abia State, report Business Today NG.
The sad incident, it was gathered, happened around Railways Junction Aba, near the Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic gate, throwing the residents of area into shock and confusion.
The woman, whose identity was yet to be ascertained as at the night of Tuesday, 29 July, 2025, was aboard a commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) going to Railway Junction near Ezeukwu Road in the city.
It was further gathered that the woman was being conveyed in the tricycle but on arrival at her intended bus stop, she was discovered unresponsive, prompting the tricycle operator to raise alarm.
Some residents of Aba, who reacted to the circulating picture of the incident on social media on the morning of Wednesday, 30 July, 2025, identified her as” Auntie Love,” a teacher and a Secretary in a popular school in Aba.
As at the time of filing this report, the Abia State Police Command has yet to comment on the sad development.
