BY NANA IBRAHIM( ABJ)—The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced results from five of the six Area Councils in the Federal Capital Territory, while collation continues in Kuje.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for FCT, Aminu Kasimu Idris, described the collation process as progressing steadily. According to officials, the Electoral Operations Support Center has concluded its election-day coordination role, allowing full attention to focus on results collation and declaration.
INEC noted that the elections were largely peaceful and efficiently conducted, citing early deployment of materials, effective use of technology, and smooth voting across the Territory.
