BY SUNDAY SAMUEL—The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its operational plan for the 2027 national elections, detailing the sequence of activities that will lead to the selection of its candidates.
The framework, signed by National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, lays out specific deadlines for vetting contenders, handling objections, and conducting party primaries for different political offices. It also outlines procedures for obtaining nomination papers and declaration forms ahead of the internal contests.
In a disclosure issued on Monday in Abuja by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party restated its dedication to openness and fair internal processes, assuring party members and stakeholders of a credible exercise.
The APC further said it is committed to reinforcing its organisational strength and advancing its ideological direction as it prepares for the 2027 polls.
Morka emphasized that the party is fully prepared to oversee a well-structured and transparent selection process.
The announcement signals the formal commencement of early groundwork by the ruling party ahead of the next general election cycle.
