Access Holdings Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness, Encourages Early Detection

Breast cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women globally. Yet, with early detection, timely care, and consistent awareness, thousands of lives can be saved every year.

In recognition of this, Access Holdings Plc is holding the Access Walk Against Cancer, a groupwide initiative aimed at spotlighting breast cancer awareness and encouraging proactive health habits across communities in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Set to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, the walk will begin at Access Towers down to Muri Okunola park and back to Accesss Towers,uniting employees, partners, and members of the public in a shared mission to fight cancer through education, empowerment, and early detection.

“At Access Holdings, we believe that health is the foundation of progress. Through the Access Walk Against Cancer, we are not only raising awareness but also inspiring collective action to protect and preserve lives,” said Esther Graham, Programme Manager, Health, Access Holdings.

The event, organised in partnership with Hacey Health Initiative and Sebeccly Cancer Support Center, will feature free health screenings for over 300 women.

Participants can look forward to games, prizes, and wellness activities designed to foster engagement, learning, and community.

Whether walking for a loved one, for yourself, or in solidarity with others, every participant contributes to a larger purpose of building a healthier, more informed society.
