AIG And AXA To Sell Their UK Operations

Sources suggest that two insurance giants are considering the possibility of selling their UK businesses.

American International Group (AIG) is consulting with advisors on the possible sale of its UK life insurance division.

For its part, the AXA Group is exploring options for the sale of its UK protection business. Both processes are preliminary and may not lead to a transaction.
