AMMC, NAICOM Collaborate To Enforce Compliance By Building Developers and Occupiers Of Public Buildings

The Management of Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), is seeking collaboration with the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), to enforce compliance by building developers and Occupiers of Public Buildings with sections 64 & 65 of the Insurance Act 2003.

The Director, Development Control at AMMC, Mukhtar Galadima, led the agency’s management team on a courtesy visit to the, Commissioner For Insurance, NAICOM, Sunday Olorundare Thomas, emphasising the need for enforcement and compliance by building developers and occupiers.

The two Agencies have setup a Joint Committee to work out the modalities for the enforcement of these compulsory insurances within the FCT.
