Dr. (Mrs.) Tonia Smart
Dr. (Mrs.) Tonia Smart, a seasoned insurance practitioner and pension administrator has recently been decorated with the title of Good Will Ambassador by the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, UK.
Mr. John Bissell, the Chief Operations Officer of CII London while welcoming her to this prestigious role -which is strictly by invitation, expressed his delight at having her join the team of Good Will Ambassadors who would carry the vision of professionalism in the insurance Sector and further improve the development of the human resources in the industry thus building confidence and trust in the insuring public.
Dr. (Mrs.) Smart who is now entitled to be addressed as CII Goodwill Ambassador (GWA) thus becomes the first female GWA and first person to be accorded this position in Nigeria and indeed Africa.
She has resumed her role which will see her representing the CII London in various activities in Nigeria as well as in other countries.
