COVID-19: Sterling Assurance Cares And Support NIA Interventions

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR—Sterling Assurance Company Limited, on Wednesday said it’s supporting the Nigeria Insurers Association (NIA) COVID-19 Support Fund. 

This Fund, which is set up by the umbrella body of Insurance Companies in Nigeria, is aimed at raising funds from the various general insurance, life assurance and reinsurance  companies operating in Nigeria to support the government efforts aimed at curbing the spread of Corona Virus (COVID19) in Nigeria. 

The company said “As the Corona Virus continues to ravage many countries and is also wreaking havoc in Nigeria and her economy, it is important that as an organization, Sterling Assurance is fully supportive of the insurance industry’s efforts aimed at raising funds and awareness on the dangers of Corona Virus in Nigeria”. 

The company further said that “Our hearts goes out to all those battling with the deadly virus. COVID 19. We believe it’s a battle that will be won. Stay positive. To all health workers, we appreciate your work. Let us all stay home to stay alive… Stay Home… Stop the Spread…..Sterling Assurance Cares and support the NIA Intervention initiative.
