BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR– The Managing Director/ CEO Anchor Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Ebose Augustine Osegha, has been appointed as a Member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers’ Association (NIA), BusinessToday has learnt.
This was done at the meeting of the association held recently in Lagos, as industry chieftains voted for him.
Mr. Osegha holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration obtained from Delta State University and University and the University of Ado-Ekiti respectively.
He started his working career with Erikana Nigeria Limited between 2000 to 2001 as a Marketing Officer and later moved to Alliance & General Insurance Company Limited where he served in various capacities from 2001 to 2004 as an Executive and rose to the position of Branch Manager.
He was the Head of Public Sector/Emerging Markets Division and General Manager at Standard Alliance Insurance Plc., until December 23, 2016.
Mr. Osegha served as the Divisional Head of Public Sector, Energy & Telecoms and Head of Public Sector/Brokers Division at Standard Alliance Insurance Plc. Since 2000, Mr. Osegha served as Assistant Branch Manager of A & G Insurance Plc.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, member Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
