Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has surrended to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this to BusinessTodayNG that “Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up.”
The Ogun State Police Command had last week declared Portable wanted over his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, Portable was accused of leading a gang of thugs to attack officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development on an enforcement exercise in the Ota area of the State.
