The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made public the scores of 632,788 applicants who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

According to a statement from the Board’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the results are now accessible for candidates to check. However, the option to print result slips has not yet been activated.

The statement further revealed that two examinees along with a parent are presently being held in connection with alleged manipulation of results using artificial intelligence tools and other electronic devices.

JAMB cautioned that anyone found guilty of such misconduct would face appropriate legal sanctions.

It also assured the public that the examination process is still ongoing and that additional results will be released progressively.

To access their scores, candidates are instructed to send “UTMERESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.
