Nigeria’s lead underwriter, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has announce the return of the Annual Mutual Benefits National Badminton Championship after a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 The much-celebrated tournament which has become one of the biggest national badminton events in Nigeria is holding in Lagos from 29th November to 2nd December 2023.

According to statement signed by its Head, Corporate Communication, Ellen Offo, that the  organization has held three successful tournaments preceding the temporary suspension due to the pandemic. 

The 4th Mutual Benefits National Badminton Championship promises to be an exceptional display of talent, with over 160 skilled players competing in various categories.

Athletes from  27 States will gather to vie for the coveted championship titles,  and ranking points in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions.
