The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has said Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has questions to answer regarding the viral video which he was allegedly sprayed N1,000 notes.
The viral video was posted on X Account formerly called titter by Harrison A, as #harreceipts with the caption, ‘EFCC, see Tompolo and the Naira o’.
Responding via its official X Account, the anti- graft agency said: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
The commission had arrested Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money,
over allegations of naira abuse in the Omole area of Lagos State.
He was subsequently taken into EFCC’s custody in Abuja.
He was however released on Tuesday and would be charged to court soon.
