The Nigeria Senate on Yesterday passed the 2018 Budget of N9.12 trillion sent by President Muhammadu Buhari in November, 2017.
President Buhari had earlier presented the budget of N8.612 trillion to the senate for passage in November 2017; but the National Assembly increased it to N9.12 trillion
The National Assembly also jerked up the benchmark price for oil from $45 proposed by the executive to $51 per barrel.
