NIS Receives Two Operational Vehicles from German Federal Police

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has received two operational vehicles donated by the German Federal Police, in a move aimed at strengthening border security, migration management, and operational efficiency.

The vehicles were handed over at the NIS Headquarters in Abuja by a delegation led by Mr. Markus Sasse, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, underscoring the growing partnership between both institutions.

The Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap, represented by Deputy Comptroller-General, Human Resource Management Directorate, A Ayeni, expressed appreciation to the German Government for the donation. He stated that the operational vehicles will significantly enhance field mobility, improve response capabilities, and support the Service’s mandate of ensuring Border Security and effective Migration Management.

The donation further reinforces the robust bilateral relations between Nigeria and Germany, highlighting the shared commitment of both countries to border security and improved migration governance.
