Samuel Daniels, brother of actress Regina Daniels has reportedly been granted bail after spending days in police detention.
According to videos circulating on social media, the release marks a temporary relief for the Daniels family, though tensions surrounding Regina and Nwoko’s troubled marriage continue to dominate public attention.
Recall that Nwoko has previously accused Regina’s family of sabotaging her rehabilitation and vowed legal action against those spreading defamatory claims.
In the clips, Sammy’s mother, Rita Daniels, is seen celebrating alongside actress Mercy Johnson, the lawyer and a family member recording the moment. Rita is heard saying, “After consulting the gods, the gods did well. The gods did it,” as they cheered.
They also thanked Nigerians for their prayers and support, and concluded with the phrase “Victoria Asata” used in expressing their victory.
Sammy’s detention followed allegations linked to the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
He was reportedly arrested over issues involving harassment and intimidation, according to earlier reports.
