Sunu Assurances Reduce Loss By 58.23% In Q1 2021

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–Nigeria’s lead insurer, Sunu Assurances Nigeria Plc, said it was able to cut loss by 58.23% to N319.121 million from
N763.906 million loss in Q1 2020.

The company made this know when it released its statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income for the first quarter ended 31 March , 2021.

According to the insurer group gross premium written rose by 53.16% to N2.252 billion in 2012 from N1.471 billion in Q1 2020.
