At 15 persons have been killed in Kwallajiya village of Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State by bandits suspected to be members of Lakurawa.
It was gathered that the bloodletting on the afternoon of Wednesday, 2 July, 2025 when the suspected errorists invaded the village and attacked them.
The victims, according to a source, had been buried according to Islamic rites on the same the evening of Wednesday, 2 July, 2025.
The source, who expressed the people’s deep concern about the incessant acts of violence by the bandits, added that such atrocities were often aided by information the bandits received from some residents of the villages.
“It is very important that the people in the affected villages intensify efforts to cooperate with security agencies in order to curb the activities of the evil men in their areas,” the source said.
As of the time of this report, Sokoto Police State Command had not issued a public comment on the sad development.
