Tunis Re Post 105.408m TND Turnover In H1 23

Tunis Re posted a turnover of 105.408 million TND (34 million USD) for the first half of 2023, which represents a 15.6% increase over one year.

Non-life premiums went up by 16.2% to 90.967 million TND (29.4 million USD). At 4.724 million TND (1.5 million USD), life underwritings have climbed by 12.8% compared with the same period of 2022.

The Retakaful business recorded a 12% turnover growth to 9.717 million TND (3.1 million USD).

The incurred losses for the first half of 2023 amounted to 83.594 million TND (27 million USD), compared with 42.528 million TND (13.8 million USD) a year earlier, almost double the amount for the same period of 2022. As for the financial products, they stood at 14.136 million TND (4.6 million USD).
