Universal Insurance Improves Profit To N637.9million In 2020

BY NKECHI NAECHE-ESEZOBOR–-Universal Insurance Plc at the weekend announced profit growth of N637.949 million in 2020 as against N337.863 million recorded in  2019.

The Insurer made this known when it released released its audited financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2020 on the floor of Nigeria Exchange Group.

According to the notice, the company goup gross premium written rose  from N1.870 billion in 2019 to N3.396 billion; this representing a growth of 82%.
