Yobe Emir Dies After Protracted illness

The Emir of Gudi in Fika local government area of Yobe State, Isah Bunuwo Madugu Ibn Khaji is dead, reports Business Today NG.
The monarch, according to family sources, died Thursday, 31 July, 2025 in Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja after a prolonged illness.
Funeral prayer was said to have been scheduled for the 19th Emir of Gudi Emirate tomorrow Friday in Gadaka town, Fika local government area by 2pm.
It was gathered that Governor Mai Mala Buni is expected to take part in the funeral prayer of the late emir.
Yobe State has 14 Emirate Councils with all the emirs having first class status.
