Zamfara Federal Lawmaker Renovates 80 Cemeteries In His Constituency

A lawmaker Hon. Kabiru Amadu popularly known as Mai Palace, representing  has Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency in Zamfara state has  given reasons for renovating 80 cemeteries as constituency project in Zamfara, r.eports Business Today NG
Speaking during the project inauguration on Tuesday,5 August, 2025,  the Peoples Democratic Party lawmaker announced that the initiative is part of his constituency projects.
“Today, we embarked on the renovation of 80 cemeteries as part of my 2nd year anniversary as a second-term member of the House of Representatives.
“We had noticed the dilapidated conditions of our cemeteries across my constituency. All of us are going to be buried here, and we must ensure we improve the conditions of our last home.
“In Islam, we know that keeping cemeteries in good conditions prevents calamities and disasters in the society,” he claimed.
Also, he promised to pay allowances to the cemeteries guards and provide the workers with working tools every month.
Welcoming the initiative, Aliyu Abubakar, the District Head of Tsafe East, commended the lawmaker for the initiative
